Week 4

  Yr 1 Blog Week 4 We are well underway with our learning in Term 2. It is encouraging to see many children farewelling their parents with such confidence. As we near the middle of the year, we encourage each child to arrive at school with a polite greeting to their teachers, as well as managing their own belongings such as bag, folder and water bottle. Allowing children to complete this simple morning routine will aid in building their independence and confidence.   Literacy In writing this term we are having a wonderful time continuing to learn about narratives and the correct structure to follow. The narrative structure includes starting with an opener such as once upon a time. Introduce characters and setting. A series of events that lead to a problem. A solution to the problem and an ending.
